We hope you are having an enjoyable, safe, and restful summer. The first day of school is Tuesday, August 20, for students in grades K-5.  This means that back to school time is just around the corner! We would like to cordially invite all of our families to attend a drop in orientation on Monday, August 19, any time between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to help us all prepare for the new school year.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for parents and students to meet their child’s classroom teacher and other faculty and staff members. Parents will receive bus route information and register for car rider parent pick up numbers. This is a great time to learn about our school and all of the opportunities available to our students and parents. We are pleased to announce that once again this year, all necessary school supplies will be purchased by our Title I project.  The only thing not provided are student backpacks.

Drop-off/pick-up Procedures: Students may be dropped off under the awning in our parent drop-off/pick-up line as early as 6:50 a.m. All students will be will be offered a free, nutritious breakfast from 6:50- 7:20 a.m. Students must be finished with breakfast and be in their classrooms by 7:30 a.m. to avoid being tardy. Student pick-up begins under the awning at 2:15 p.m. In order to keep all students safe, we ask parents to remain in their cars and use their assigned parent pick-up number when picking up students.

We look forward to many new and exciting learning adventures in the upcoming school year. Until then, continue to read every day and to work on our Galaxy Reading and Math programs. We look forward to seeing all of our Manchester Panthers very soon.
